What kinds of events do you do?

Paul mainly plays at weddings - He is an experienced professional full time musician and puts his all into every performance.

Paul plays at all various types of wedding ceremonies and provides live music for your afternoon drinks reception.

He also plays at evening events - typically this would be at the more intimate, smaller sized wedding party, when the couple are looking for a solo or two piece live music set to entertain the guests.

Paul plays regularly at evening weddings that are held in city centre restaurants, hotels, private function rooms and generally occasions that a full sized wedding band would be unsuited to.

If you love the idea of a smaller live band for your evening wedding party, Acoustic Weddings are the perfect soloution.

There are 100's of songs and music on offer - if you have any favourite songs , music ideas or just want to ask Paul anything about the different options for your wedding music - all you have to do is get in touch for advice.

Paul welcomes any suggestions or ideas that you may have for your wedding, so please feel free to contact him anytime!

Each wedding can be different and with with the various musical options at Acoustic Weddings - Paul can help you design the soundtrack to your special day - beautiful romantic songs for the ceremony and a special blend of classic and modern guitar/piano songs for the afternoon!

One of the best packages Paul can offer, is a discount for both ceremony and drinks reception - please send an email to receive a price for the whole daytime/afternoon....

What sort equipment do you provide? Do we have to provide anything else?

When playing solo - quite often I use a soloist amplifier - which has inputs for a microphone and guitar - perfect for playing the smallest of ceremony rooms in many venues.

If the situation requires it, P.A. equipment is used of various different sizes - but always adapted to each enviroment - I supply all my own sound equipment and have various sizes of sound and speaker systems, for any size of venue.

Paul's p.a system is professional quality sound.

What normally happens at a typical 'Acoustic Wedding' ?

Typically,  Paul will play instrumental acoustic guitar/piano as the guests arrive and are taking their places for the wedding ceremony, then there will be a song/music to walk down the aisle to.

This is usually a favourite or personal song to the couple, generally a shortened version as the ceremony gets under way.

Then it's one or two songs during the signing of the register, and finally as the guests are invited to stand and welcome the newly married couple, a song/music for the exit.

If there is additional music in the afternoon, Paul will set up immediately after to begin the afternoon drinks reception entertainment.

How would you describe your style of music?

Paul's wedding music offers great variety for his wedding couples - as an experienced pro guitarist, he prides himself in his ability to play guitar music at the highest standard.

This is something that he continually works at and especially the guitar instrumentals, for example Pink's "Just Give Me A Reason",  Paul worked out his own guitar arrangement for a bride last year, who requested her favourite 'Pink' song to played as she walked down the aisle.

Paul's playing style is completely adaptable to many different genres of music - if you have any favourite bands/artists and want the songs to be the theme of your wedding - He wil be able to design a setlist just for you!

Another great advantage Paul offers is the sound of his digital stage piano - there are some truly great sounds availble for the songs that are more suited to the keyboard.

Examples would be Wings/Birdy, Let It Be/Beatles, Scientist/Coldplay, all of which are suited to the piano.

So whatever instrument you prefer for your wedding, Paul's wedding music can feature either instrument or a combination of both.

He is a passionate music fan as well as a full time performer, Paul has developed his playing and vocal style over many years of performing songs by his own influences.

Paul's trademark musical abilities are extremely versatile - couples can have acoustic guitar - piano and vocals all in one unbeatable, competitive package!

Are you able to learn songs that are not on your playlist?

Absolutely...Paul welcomes the opportunity to learn new songs that are special to each individual couple.

Many of the songs that are in his playlist are songs that were originally new requests for various weddings.

Can You Reserve/Hold Our Date?

Yes indeed - if you would like to make an enquiry about music for your wedding, Paul can reserve your date for you if he is still available.

Sometimes couples like to arrange a viewing at a live performance or a meeting with Paul to discuss their wedding music before making a confirmed booking.

Paul encourages this, to provide peace of mind before confirming the date.

When he receives a confirmed booking, he will send you a confirmation letter/email for your records.

How much does it cost ?

Quite simply - the rates you can expect to pay are unbeatable value - as a solo artist Paul is able to cover all the bases and keep costs to a minimum.

Paul handles all his enquiries directly, this means no agency fees or hidden extras!
